One of my favorite days of the year are Amazon Prime Days. This year it lands on October 13th and 14th. It had been postponed due to the global pandemic. Now, we have two days happening soon so if you are planning on taking advantage here are some tips and things to consider. These are just some of my favorite products to look for. But first, let's start with some tips as you start your plan of attack.
Use AmazonSmile: If you are not already an AmazonSmile member, sign up on your web browser. Simply select your favorite charity to start generating donations, at no cost to you. Here is more information on how to link your Amazon App to AmazonSmile - https://www.amazon.com/b?ie=UTF8&node=15576745011
When you shop at AmazonSmile, you’ll find the exact same low prices, vast selection and convenient shopping experience as Amazon.com, with the added benefit that AmazonSmile will donate 0.5% of your eligible purchases to the charitable organization of your choice. You can choose from over one million organizations to support.
Just a heads up, my favorite charity is listed (THE GARY SINISE FOUNDATION) so if you don't have a charity in mind I highlyly recommend them. They have a 4-star rating on Charity Navigator. They support our troops, veterans, and first responders.
Plan ahead: Always make a list of things you might want heading into the holidays. Add them to either a shopping list in Amazon or add them to your cart then change their status to "Save for Later". That way if you are ready to pull the trigger you can simply move the item to your cart and checkout.
Don't Wait! Yes, it’s possible that you’ll find a slightly better discount if you wait until Black Friday, but this year, you’ll be taking a chance that the product will be out of stock when you need it most. As we saw this past summer, Amazon has experienced delays due to Covid-19, so it is better to spend a smidge more now or risk missing out later.

BOUGHT MINE LAST YEAR, STILL A GREAT DEAL
The Instant Pot 6-Quart 7-in-1-Duo, in particular, flew off the shelves for 2019's Prime Day at just $49.99. I was lucky enough to snag one. And while the current discount isn’t quite as awesome, it's still down $20 from its typical $99.95 at $79. So, if this is on your list I would definitely get one while you can.
