DUO-SENSORY TASTE SYSTEM™
"MealEnders’ active-taste formula rewards and resets your taste buds, distracting you from the temptation to overindulge. First the delicious Reward Layer treats you to the sweet taste of dessert – a signal we typically associate with the end of a meal. Then the Inner Core’s Active-Taste Layer releases a proprietary blend of gentle, cool tingling sensations on the tongue, which engage the trigeminal nerve, distracting your mind from the urge to continue overeating. You can feel your MealEnder go to work instantly."
MealEnders consist of two components: a sweet, outer reward layer and a cooling/tingling inner core. The outer layer provides a measured dose of “dessert” associated with the end of a meal, while the inner core engages the trigeminal nerve (the nerve that senses “taste”) with long-lasting cooling/tingling sensations that cleanse the palate.
I am pretty skeptical when it comes to quick and easy fixes for anything which is why I was happy to be able to review this product through FitApproach. I have seen a few reviews pior to this that explain the basics of how they work so I won't get into that again here. You can find all of that information on their website so please do feel free to head there and read more about the science behind these handy supplements.
My favorite flavors were Chocolate Mint and Citrus. Chocolate Mint was more like candy where the Citrus felt more like a mouth tingling breath freshener. The best part of these lozenges is that they are compact and readily availabel to help you beat those late night cravings or even mid-afternoon snack attacks. I recently traveled to Chicago this past weekend and packed a few of these in my carry-on so that when I got on the plane I could have one of these instead of the high sodium snacks that you get mid-flight. You just pop one in your mouth and let it dissolve (do not bite or chew) and it helps trick your body and mind into no longer feeling that urge to eat. I was hungry but more out of boredom, knowing that, I just took one and it helped me fight that urge. Insetad of chewing gum or other candies these lozenges are low calorie (15 calories each) and do help you fight the fury that is aused by snacking between meals. Although pricey at $14.95 per pack, there are some economical bundles available. Plus, I have a giveaway happening right now. So, if you want the same package I received for this review, enter below!
