Three of my favorite people and myself had an amazing opportunity to check out Madame Tussauds here in town. Located just outside of the Venetian on Las Vegas Boulevard, this attraction has a little bit for everyone. The wax figures, all of which are impeccably crafted, featured movie and TV stars, sports figures, action figures (along with a 4D movie) and more.

This is a great group activity if you are looking for something unique to do in town. They encourage photos, and yes we did have a selfie stick with us which helped us out. We checked to make sure using it was okay and I would recommend that for any attraction in town because many do not allow them.

We spent almost two hours inside the museum checking out the figures. My favorites were Frank Sinatra and the Hangover display (make sure to check out the bathroom for a special surprise). The  Marvel Characters and the accompanying 4D movie was an added bonus. The movie itself was about ten minutes and included some cool effects including a bit of water action (you don't get soaked just misted). As cool as that was I think more wax characters from the movie would have been ideal. There were not that many there. Then again, I am a HUGE geek in that area so that could be why I feel that way.

The creepy wax figure award goes to... Shaquille O’Neal. The arm pit hair was well, disturbing. i could have done without that. Ew.

If you have ever gone to the New York City attraction you will see that the Las Vegas version is a much smaller. Overall though the display was entertaining. My friends and I had a fantastic time.
