Class Pass

I received a one month trial to review this service.

Website: http://classpass.com/

Cost: $99 per month

They say that in fitness they key is to find something you love and to stick with it in order to achieve your goals. However, I have found that it is not always easy to find things you love. Also, what if that something you love is variety? Well, enter Class Pass.

What is the Deal?

For $79 – $99 a month (price varies by city), ClassPass members get unlimited classes to studios in the ClassPass network. While members can take as many classes per month as they’d like, they can visit the same studio up to 3 times per monthly membership cycle.

How Does it Work?

Reserve a class by clicking on one of the venues, and then selecting the class you would like to attend. Press the “reserve” button next to the class and confirm your reservation, and you’ll be added to the list! You do not need to bring a voucher or print out to class — just bring a photo ID.

Thoughts:

I did miss some time using this trial month with two trips I had planned prior to receiving it but I was eager to try what I could. First up was Vegas Combat's Combat Fitness class taught by Michael Bonner. They describe this class as "the perfect compliment to martial arts training as it helps students (and non-students) get in the best shape of their life". I could not agree more.

There will be a seperate post on this class and studio so stay tuned. I took a total of three classes at this studio. I made sure I maxed out on the three classes under my Class Pass.

The other class I took was Vegas Hot! Venus Hot 60. I must say I was not looking forward to this one. The idea of 105 degree yoga in 40% humidity made my stomach roll just thinking about it. Brigitta Baka was the instructor and I really liked her style. It was a fast paced intense class but Brigitta made sure to tell us before class to take it at our own pace. Take a water break as needed and do the poses as best as we could. In spit of myself I really enjoyed the class and though I probably wouldn't join as a full time member I would definitely add these classes in since they do offer a drop in class rate.

Overall, I feel that Class Pass will be an asset for those living in Vegas. It offers a lot of flexibility and variety with the number of classes available as well as the ease in which the site works. You do have to cancel the classes you register for within 24 hours prior to the class time so it makes you say accountable for your class time. There is a fee if you do cancel within the alloted time. Please see classpass.com for your city on what those restrictions may be in your area.

Because of this opportunity I was able to find a studio and class that I fell in love with so if you are looking to try out new classes, or just want to add some unique training to your life you should check out Class Pass.

Gives you a virtual kudo when ou complete a class!
